Email Providers ​

MyEmailVault supports a wide range of email providers and file formats for ingestion. Each guide below walks you through connecting a specific source to your MyEmailVault instance.

IMAP Providers ​

  • Gmail (IMAP) -- Connect a personal Gmail account using an App Password.
  • Outlook (IMAP) -- Connect an Outlook or Microsoft personal account using an App Password.
  • Generic IMAP -- Connect any IMAP-compatible email server.

Enterprise Providers ​

  • Google Workspace -- Connect an entire Google Workspace domain using a service account with domain-wide delegation.
  • Microsoft 365 -- Connect a Microsoft 365 tenant using an Entra ID app registration with the Microsoft Graph API.

File Imports ​

  • PST Import -- Import emails from Outlook PST archive files.
  • EML Import -- Import emails from a zip archive containing .eml files.
  • MBOX Import -- Import emails from MBOX files exported from Thunderbird, Gmail Takeout, and other clients.

Advanced ​

  • Merging Sources -- Combine multiple ingestion sources into a single unified archive with deduplication.
